Chinook Centre's charity of choice is the Alberta
Children's Hospital Foundation. Throughout the year, Chinook
hosts various events to help raise funds for Southern Alberta's premier
child health care facility.
From 1998 to present, Chinook Centre has contributed over
$500,000 to the Foundation. Funds were raised through Christmas gift-wrapping
programs, Santa Photo programs, the Living Statue program, the Annual
Stampede Breakfast, and the Chinook Centre Annnual Charity Golf Tournament.
The ACHF is able to meet the Alberta Children's Hospital's
most urgent needs including equipment, research, education and programs.
This funding serves to enhance not only the quality of healthcare, but
also the quality of life for children and families throughout the Alberta
region.
