A: Chinook Centre is undergoing a multi-million dollar expansion, adding approximately 180,000 square feet of retail to accommodate more than 60 new retailers plus two levels of heated underground parking (approximately 1,200 new stalls).

During construction, Chinook Centre still has over 4,000 FREE parking stalls with over 2,200 parking stalls (four levels) in its two covered parkades. The south parkade (two levels) by the theatres has 730 stalls and the west parkade has 1,500 stalls.
Chinook Centre encourages shoppers to take advantage of the close proximity to the Chinook LRT station. A free shuttle bus (Route 506) runs every fifteen minutes between Chinook Centre and Chinook Station.
In addition, an off-site parking program for construction workers is in place to ensure maximum parking availability remains for customers.
