Community Involvement

Chinook Centre is proud to be part of the Calgary community.

Chinook Centre’s charity of choice is the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation.

Since 1998, through Christmas programs (such as photos with Santa and the Living Statue program), the Annual Stampede Breakfast and Chinook’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament, over $750,000 has been donated to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation.

This year, proceeds raised will be directed towards supporting excellence in Brain Health at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. These funds will make a significant difference to children suffering from illness and injury of the brain. In southern Alberta, there are an estimated 150,000 children affected by neurological conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, autism spectrum disorder, attention and learning disorders, chronic headache/migraine and sleep disorders.

By enhancing care for kids from diagnosis to treatment and rehabilitation and by building on clinical research, our experts are determined to provide national leadership in pediatric brain health over the next decade.
